Distributed Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation System
It is well known that installing a grid-connected system can receive additional subsidies from the government. Nowadays, more and more residents are installing grid-connected photovoltaic systems. However, Bitpott solar photovoltaic manufacturers remind everyone that it is essential to follow the standard procedures when applying for the power station installation. If the following situations occur, one may not receive government subsidies.
Application for Household Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation System After Installation
The official process for installing a grid-connected household photovoltaic power generation system is as follows: Residents must submit a grid connection application along with their ID and property ownership certificate to the local power supply office. After the application is accepted, the local power company will inspect the installation site and, based on national, industry, and local technical standards and project conditions, will develop a connection scheme for the customer at no charge, providing a written response. Only then can the user proceed to install the rooftop photovoltaic power station. Conversely, if a household solar power station is installed first without seeking approval from the power company and the installation location does not meet the connection requirements, the government subsidy will not be granted.
Unauthorized Installation of Household Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems is Prohibited
Compared to large centralized power stations, household photovoltaic systems are much simpler in structure and mainly consist of photovoltaic solar panels, inverters, controllers, brackets, AC/DC cables, and batteries. Generally, individuals with minimal electrical knowledge may manage to complete the entire installation of a rooftop solar power station, but if they install it without authorized qualifications or choose an unqualified installation team, the power company will reject the connection request for the household solar photovoltaic power system. All installation processes must adhere to installation requirements; unauthorized installation is prohibited.
After the solar photovoltaic power generation project and connection are completed, the user must submit an acceptance and debugging application to the local power company. The materials required for acceptance and debugging include a copy of the construction team’s qualifications. Therefore, self-assembly cannot smoothly connect to the grid, nor can they sell electricity or receive government subsidies.
Are There Subsidies for Installing Off-Grid Photovoltaic Solar Power Stations?
Generally, the photovoltaic subsidy for household solar photovoltaic power generation systems is mainly related to the grid connection mode, divided into two modes: “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” and “full-grid feed-in.”
Before the grid-connected solar photovoltaic power generation system is integrated, the local power company will install a bidirectional smart meter for the user’s solar photovoltaic power station. The meter can accurately record the user’s electricity consumption and surplus electricity fed into the grid. Regardless of the amount fed into the grid or the self-consumed electricity, the government will provide a subsidy of 0.42 yuan per kilowatt-hour. However, if the user does not complete the grid connection procedures and chooses to use 100% of the generated electricity for self-consumption, and they install an off-grid photovoltaic solar power station, the government will not grant any subsidies.
