In the field of lighting, solar street lamps are known as green and environmentally friendly products because they do not pollute the environment. Solar street lamps use solar energy as the power supply for nighttime road lighting, featuring the ability to illuminate as long as there is sufficient sunlight. However, after purchasing a solar street lamp, installation is necessary. So what are the steps for pouring the foundation for solar street lamps? In response to this question, the editor from Century Sunshine Lighting introduces the following steps.
1. Determine the position of the lamp:
Investigate the geological conditions. If the surface 1.2 meters below is soft soil, the excavation depth should be increased. At the same time, confirm that there are no other facilities (such as cables, pipelines, etc.) below the excavation site, and ensure there are no long-term shading objects above the lamp. Otherwise, it is necessary to adjust the position accordingly.
2. Reserve (excavate) a pit measuring 1.3 meters in accordance with standards where the lamp will be positioned, and concrete pour for the embedded parts:
The embedded parts should be placed in the center of the square pit, with one end of the PVC conduit positioned at the center of the embedded part and the other end located at the battery storage area. It is important to keep the embedded parts, foundation, and original ground level on the same plane (or the top of the screw on the same plane as the original ground level, depending on site requirements), with one side parallel to the road, to ensure that the lamp post is upright and not tilted after installation. Next, pour concrete to secure it, continuously using a vibrator during the pouring process to ensure overall compactness and stability.
3. After construction is completed, promptly clean the residual dirt on the positioning plate and use waste oil to clean the impurities on the bolts.
4. During the curing process of the concrete, regularly water it for maintenance. Only after the concrete has fully cured (generally over 72 hours) can the lamp installation proceed.
The above steps regarding the foundation pouring for solar street lamps are shared here. Solar street lamps illuminate the paths for citizens at night, not only providing a sense of safety and warmth but also making the quiet countryside more beautiful under the night sky.
