Solar street lamp poles are exposed to the elements year-round, and the alkaline nature of rainwater easily causes corrosion, leading to rust spots that affect the overall aesthetic. Therefore, rust prevention and water drainage for lamp poles are especially important.

The surface of the street lamp pole undergoes plastic spraying treatment, generally using a disposable spraying production line with a length of 60M. Customers can specify the color, and outdoor polyester powder is used, with a coating thickness greater than 85UM. This ensures curing time, uniform coating, high adhesion, and protection against ultraviolet radiation, usually lasting for 10 years without peeling. Another method involves internal and external hot-dip galvanization for corrosion resistance, with a zinc layer thickness greater than 85UM, which complies with ZBJ3601-89 standards, achieving a corrosion life of over 30 years, and preventing rust within 15 years.

The principle of powder electrostatic spraying is based on the high-voltage electrostatic corona field principle. The metal flow cup at the spray gun head is connected to a high-voltage negative electrode, while the workpiece being coated is grounded to form a positive electrode, creating a strong electrostatic field between the spray gun and the workpiece. When the carrier gas (compressed air) transports the powder coating from the supply barrel through the feed pipe to the gun’s flow cup, the flow cup generates corona discharge due to the high-voltage negative connection, creating a dense charge around it. The powder gains a negative charge and is uniformly attracted to the workpiece under the action of electrostatic forces and compressed air. After heating, the powder melts and solidifies into a uniform, smooth coating film. Electrostatic spraying can be divided into painting and plastic spraying.

Additionally, there is a high-temperature plastic spraying technology that has developed in recent years as a new surface treatment method, mainly used to enhance the surface performance of metal parts. It improves the wear resistance, corrosion resistance to special media, oxidation resistance, electrical insulation, and also serves effective surface decoration. The basic principle is to melt nylon through flame heating and spray it onto the pre-prepared workpiece surface to achieve the desired coating layer.
