The shadow of solar garden lights is visible everywhere in our lives. Whether it’s on winding paths, under camphor trees in campus, or along the roads of residential buildings, the presence of solar garden lights illuminates the hearts of late returners and the fighting spirit of those struggling for life. However, the existence of anything is relative. While solar garden lights provide us with convenience, they also require regular maintenance checks so that they can better serve us.
Below, I will introduce the maintenance and cleaning of solar garden lights:
Maintenance:
1. Do not hang items on the light, such as drying bedding.
2. When adjusting the lampshade, avoid shadows cast by the trunnion inside the fixture when it is turned on.
3. Replace aging lamps promptly according to the source parameters indicated, especially if you notice red at both ends, blackening of the tube, or flickering. These problems should be addressed promptly to avoid issues like ballast damage.
4. Frequent switching will significantly reduce its lifespan, so minimize the on-off switching when using the lights.
5. If you notice that the lampshade is tilted during use or cleaning, adjust it immediately to maintain aesthetics.
Cleaning:
1. Solar garden lights tend to accumulate dust. Use a damp cloth to wipe them down, maintaining the same direction without scrubbing back and forth. Apply moderate force, especially when cleaning chandeliers or wall lamps.
2. To clean the inside of the fixture and the light bulb, first turn off the lights. You can detach the bulb for cleaning. If cleaning directly on the fixture, avoid turning the bulb in a clockwise direction to prevent the light head from becoming too tight and breaking off.
