When installing solar street lights, there are several important considerations. Currently, most people pay significant attention to the installation spacing provided by solar street light manufacturers. So, what should we keep in mind during the installation of solar street lights? Let’s take a look.
1. Regarding the spacing of solar street lights, it’s best to understand a few details. For a solar street light with a height of 4 meters, the installation is often in residential areas along roads. Ideally, the spacing between each street light should be controlled between 8 and 12 meters. If the spacing is too large, there may be areas left in complete darkness.
2. While installing solar street lights, one must also consider the height of the lights. For lights around 6 meters tall, they may be particularly vulnerable in rural areas, especially on new rural roads with widths of about 5 meters. Generally, different spacing arrangements can be observed during the installation process in such areas. It is recommended that the distance between lights should be approximately 15 to 20 meters, and should not be below 15 meters. Additionally, it is advisable to install more solar lights at corners.
3. For 8-meter-tall solar street lights, the optimal spacing during installation should be between 25 and 30 meters. When positioning them on both sides of the road, it’s best to alternate the placement of the solar street lights for better illumination.
