Solar Street Light Manufacturer – Introduction to Solar Street Light Systems
The solar street light system can ensure normal operation for more than 15 days in rainy weather. It consists of several components, including an LED light source (with driver), solar panels, batteries (including battery insulation box), solar street light controllers, lamp poles (including foundations), and auxiliary wiring.
Solar power modules are typically made from monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon solar panels. The LED heads usually feature high-power LED light sources. Controllers are commonly placed inside the lamp poles and offer light control, time control, overcharge and over-discharge protection, and reverse polarity protection. More advanced controllers also have functions such as seasonal lighting time adjustment, half-power function, and intelligent charging and discharging capabilities. Batteries are generally located underground or may have dedicated insulation boxes and can include valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, iron-aluminum batteries, or lithium batteries. Solar lights operate fully automatically, requiring no trenching for wiring, but the lamp poles must be installed on embedded parts (concrete bases).
