Nowadays, the development prospects of the streetlight market are increasingly bright. The development of solar LED streetlights is moving towards an ideal trend in the industry, and they are becoming more favored by people. Their advantages, such as not needing municipal electricity, quick installation, and being environmentally friendly, are well-known. However, not all regions are suitable for installing solar streetlights. This may not be clear to many users. To ensure that solar streetlights can operate normally and efficiently, we will explain which places are not suitable for installation:
1. There are limitations regarding the altitude in areas suitable for solar LED streetlights. Generally, solar LED streetlights are suitable for installation in regions with an altitude of less than 2000 meters, which covers the central and eastern plain areas of China. This is because altitude can affect the operation of batteries and circuits.
2. Solar streetlights can operate within a temperature range of -50°C to 70°C. If the temperature is too high, they cannot work properly, and if it’s too low, their operation may slow down.
3. The wind resistance level for areas using solar streetlights is level 12. As long as the streetlight is within the expected wind resistance level range, it will not suffer damage; it can operate normally in winds below level 12.
4. The seismic resistance level for solar streetlights is level 8. They will only be damaged in the event of a major earthquake. In normal areas, lighting will not cause issues. The seismic activity in our country is not comparable to that abroad, so solar LED streetlights are suitable for most regions in the country.
5. Solar streetlights can operate normally in areas where the air humidity does not exceed 80%. If the humidity surpasses this level, the high humidity will cause the electronic components to become damp, leading to unstable connections, which can affect system lighting.
