In practical use, high pole lights may encounter a series of problems due to improper usage or other reasons. In such cases, most people are concerned about the specific issues that may arise during the actual use of these products.
High Pole Light Not Lighting
When high pole lights are used outdoors, they are often exposed to high temperatures, heavy rain, or other environmental influences. In these scenarios, the controllers are usually installed inside the light pole, making them susceptible to water ingress or short circuits. First, we need to check whether there are any water traces at the controller’s terminal connections and whether the entire controller is prone to damage. If it is easily damaged, battery voltage measurements will not be conducted, consequently affecting the entire power supply system of the high pole light. This could lead to the battery being unable to charge in a short period. If replacement is necessary, it must meet existing requirements. It’s best to investigate the reason for the battery failure.
Flickering Lights
According to manufacturers of high pole lights, flickering lights are primarily caused by poor line contact and a discharged battery. In this case, the entire power reserve is severely declining, leading to flickering along the entire line. The only feasible solution is to replace the battery.
Short Lighting Duration
Different types of high pole lights also exhibit varying lighting durations, especially during short durations of rainy weather.
