2. First, connect the light source wire directly to the battery wire to check if the light source lights up, which will allow you to confirm the positive and negative terminals of the light source. (If the positive and negative terminals are connected incorrectly, the light source will not light up, but it will not be damaged, so you can safely test it.) Then, connect the positive wire of the light source to the red wire on the controller that corresponds to the light bulb icon, and connect the negative wire to the black wire on the controller corresponding to the light bulb icon.
3. Using a multimeter to check the positive and negative terminals of the solar panel output, connect the positive wire of the solar panel to the red wire on the controller that corresponds to the solar panel icon, and connect the negative wire to the black wire on the controller corresponding to the solar panel icon.
4. The controller is preset with the program and intelligent lighting time when it leaves the factory, so it does not need to be adjusted after wiring. The controller will automatically enter the working state.
5. Note: When installing the battery box, make sure to tighten the screws and use waterproof conduit. The waterproof conduit should extend 20 cm above the ground at the base of the lamp post to ensure that water does not enter the battery box even during rainy weather. Additionally, choose an installation location that avoids obstacles to the solar panel to ensure it can absorb sunlight and charge effectively.
