1. Check the identification, verify that the specifications, models, and quantities meet the design requirements. If they do not meet the requirements, replacement should be made immediately, and no forced construction should occur. Inspect the surface of the controller for any damage or scratches; if there are any, they should be replaced immediately. Before wiring, confirm the identification symbols, wiring positions, and positive and negative symbols for the solar panel, battery, and load on the controller.
2. When wiring the controller for the solar garden light, pay attention to the polarity, ensuring the red wire is connected to the positive terminal and the blue wire to the negative terminal. Prior to wiring, use wire strippers to strip the insulation from the solar panel line, battery line, and the power lines for each component. Ensure the plastic copper wire has an insulation length of 30 ± 2 mm. Use insulating tape to wrap the red light source wire on the controller with two layers, then connect the wires in the following order: battery → solar panel → light source. Connect the battery power line to the battery line on the controller first. Connect the solar panel wire to the solar panel terminal on the controller (if the controller has dual solar inputs, prioritize connecting one). Finally, connect the load wire to the load terminal on the controller.
3. After installing all power lines for the controller, organize the wires neatly and secure them with a 200 mm nylon tie, hanging them on the small hook inside the lamp pole. Next, place the controller inside the waterproof box, put the waterproof box on the baffle above the access door, and secure the baffle with two M6*2 bolts before installing the electrical access door and locking it tight.
4. After powering up the solar garden light, refer to the controller manual to check if the LED or LCD displays are functioning properly. If there are any fault messages, follow the manual instructions to troubleshoot.
5. Install the access door using a triangular lock to secure it. Clean the site to ensure a tidy environment, and count the tools to ensure nothing is overlooked.
