Recently, I drove from Guangdong to Guangxi and back to Guangdong. During my travels across these two regions, I encountered many tunnels, the longest being the 4.6-kilometer Yufushi Yashan Tunnel. I noticed that each tunnel had a different lighting design; some were halogen designs, some were LED designs, and some featured LED tunnel lights with LED streetlights at the tunnel exits.
Tunnels are different from ordinary roads; without tunnel lights, serious accidents can easily happen, yet there is no standard for tunnel lighting design. Due to the recent heat, the road surface temperature on the highway was high. I saw countless flat tires lying on the highway while traveling from Guangxi to Guangdong. At high speeds, it was difficult to see the road conditions, making it easy for accidents to occur, especially in tunnels where visibility is even lower. I prefer tunnels equipped with LED tunnel lights because I do not have to worry about the transition between the visual “black hole” and “white hole” when entering and exiting tunnels. The brightness of the LED tunnel lights not only reassures me but also enhances my mood.
The company I work for specializes in manufacturing photovoltaic power generation, solar lighting, and LED streetlights. I have a preference for LED tunnel lights. LED tunnel lights are known for being “long-lasting generals” as they are designed for 24 hours of continuous illumination. LED tunnel lights provide good light transmission, stability, heat dissipation, and longer lifespan. They effectively address the human eye’s adaptation to light, thus reducing the incidence of accidents. As a result, LED tunnel lights have become a necessity and a trend.
LED tunnel lights utilize an intelligent dimming system, which allows for energy savings while ensuring the stability, brightness, uniformity of light, and heat dissipation of the fixtures. This guarantees driving safety in tunnels during cloudy days, rainy days, and nighttime, all while being energy-efficient.
