Recently, while driving from Guangdong to Guangxi and back, I encountered many tunnels along the way. The longest was the 4.6-kilometer Yufushi Yashan Tunnel. I noticed that each tunnel had different lighting designs; some used halogen lights, while others used LED lights or a combination of LED tunnel lights and exit LED street lights.
Tunnel sections differ from regular road sections. Without proper tunnel lights, serious accidents can easily occur, and there is no standard design for these lights. Due to the recent heat, the temperature of the highway surface has been high. During my trip from Guangxi to Guangdong, I saw countless worn-out tires on the highway. In high-speed conditions, visibility becomes poor, making it easier for accidents to happen, especially since visibility is even lower in tunnel sections. I prefer tunnels equipped with LED tunnel lights because I no longer have to worry about transitioning between the visual “black hole” and “white hole” when entering and exiting them. The brightness of LED tunnel lights not only gives me peace of mind but also enhances my mood.
The company I work for specializes in producing photovoltaic power generation, solar lamps, and LED streetlights. I particularly favor LED tunnel lights. These lights are known for their ability to shine continuously for 24 hours, earning them the title of “long-lasting generals.” LED tunnel lights have excellent light transmission, stability, heat dissipation, and a longer lifespan. They effectively solve the issue of human eyes adapting to light, ultimately reducing the accident rate. As a result, LED tunnel lights have become a necessity and a trend.
LED tunnel lights employ intelligent dimming systems to achieve secondary energy savings while ensuring stability, brightness, uniformity of light, and heat dissipation of the fixtures. This adequately guarantees driving safety during any period, such as cloudy days, rainy days, or nighttime, all while being energy-efficient.
