Among solar lights, there is a type called solar lawn light. It is very popular in solar lighting because of its compact size and the flexibility to be installed in desired locations. Solar lawn lights are independent, eliminating concerns about inconvenient wiring connections. Here is an introduction to the system components of solar lawn lights:
1. Assemble the lamp pole component, adjusting the direction of the lamp head and battery component. During assembly, ensure that the bolt connections are tightened evenly. Use thread locking adhesive if necessary. Typically, apply thread locking adhesive to the anchor bolts.
2. Use pre-threaded iron wire to pull the electrical wires. While threading, avoid pulling hard to prevent damage to the sheath, which could cause unnecessary issues. Leave enough excess for the connections between the solar battery components and the light source. The power supply line to the controller should bend downward slightly, to prevent water from flowing into the terminal connections along the wire.
3. Install the solar battery component:
Secure the component with bolts on both sides; ensure the connection box keeps the wires facing downward during installation.
4. Wiring principles for the solar battery component: After connecting the sheath wire to the solar battery component’s connection box, sealing with silicone is essential.
5. The sheath wire must run inside the lamp pole and cannot be exposed. After completing the wiring, use a multimeter to check that all connections are correct.
Although the solar lawn light has a small appearance and internal components, its power and configuration are comparable to those of solar street lights. It similarly achieves savings and environmental protection while enhancing the aesthetic of green spaces and lawns.
