3. Issues within LED street light manufacturers: Many large companies, such as Foxconn, have joined the LED street light sector. However, in my view, it’s not that these companies are genuinely enthusiastic about LED street lights; rather, they are leveraging the LED name for market gain. Meanwhile, smaller workshops exacerbate price wars, and many manufacturers show little interest in how to succeed in the LED street light market, focusing instead on energy-saving subsidies.
4. Problems with front-line sales personnel at LED street light manufacturers: From prior experience at a manufacturer, I found this to be significant, though not deeply understood until I joined an LED street light engineering company. Numerous sales representatives from LED street light manufacturers visited me, gradually revealing their lack of basic knowledge about their own products. Many were unaware of whether LED tubes used 3528 or 3014 chips, the quantity of chips, the diameter of the tube, or the PF value of the tube.
