In modern society, with the rapid economic development, our urban landscape is undergoing various changes. Today, cities appear more magnificent and stylish, showcasing high-end aesthetics, and everywhere we can see landscape lights. Landscape lights come in many varieties, and many of the lights we see in different places are, in fact, landscape lights. Originally evolved from street lamps, landscape lights have adapted to meet contemporary demands and fulfill people’s needs, becoming products with decorative features. So, where can landscape lights be used?
First, they can be used for lawn and plant lighting. Landscape lights are particularly well-suited for illuminating lawns and plants, which is one of their most common applications. The lighting design is integrated throughout the entire engineering project. When it comes to decorating lawns, lawn lights are typically chosen. To avoid glare, it is advisable to select frosted white fixtures. For tall trees, the most common method is ground-level installation, where the lights are placed on or buried within the ground to cast beams of light vertically upwards, showcasing the densest part of the tree canopy and highlighting the three-dimensional quality of the trees.
Second, they can be used for pathway lighting. In residential landscapes, pathway lighting also utilizes landscape lights. Generally, they are distributed along various branching paths, with energy-efficient bulbs being the preferred light source. The appearance of the fixtures should harmonize with the environment, and their installation height should be consistent with the surrounding landscape, typically between 25 to 30 meters.
